Mission and Focus

Lincoln School PTA

The Lincoln PTA, founded in 1950, is a nonprofit organization.  The California PTA Mission Statement guides all of our work. The primary focus of the Lincoln PTA is to build and support the Lincoln community for the benefit of all students.  We hold many social and educational events throughout the year that are open to all Lincoln families.  Through PTA fundraisers as well as the hard work of our incredible Lincoln volunteers, the PTA is able to support programs that benefit our children, teachers, staff and parents - our community!  Make our community one voice stronger.  Join the PTA to show your support for your child and our school.

California PTA Mission Statement
The mission of the California State PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.

National PTA History
For more than 100 years, National Parent Teacher Association (National PTA®) has worked toward bettering the lives of every child in education, health and safety. Founded in 1897 as the National Congress of Mothers by Alice McLellan Birney and Phoebe Apperson Hearst, National PTA is a powerful voice for all children, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for public education. Today’s PTA is a network of millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of family engagement in schools.
