Our Principal
After teaching kindergarten and living beachside in San Diego for many years, Laura moved to Burlingame to be near her husband’s large extended family. Since 2011, Laura has taught and led in Burlingame schools with a focus on student-centered processes and equity. Laura has two young boys who go to school in Burlingame. Together, they spend all their spare time riding bikes, playing at the beach, or at family gatherings eating delicious homemade Persian food.
Laura deeply values building trust with entire learning communities to ensure a sense of belonging and achievement for all learners. Laura cannot wait to encourage our young Lincoln Lions in their journey to become safe, kind, and ethical problem solvers in an ever-changing world.
Our Teachers & Team
The Lincoln teaching staff is comprised of 21 fully credentialed classroom teachers who work closely together to provide instruction that is developmentally appropriate through a standards-based curriculum. An administrator, classified employees, and classroom specialists complete the Lincoln team to help deliver the Four Cs. Our specialist teachers provide physical education, social-emotional learning, music instruction, visual and performing arts lessons, library, literacy, special education, reading assistance, and English Language Development.
The Lincoln staff continually pursues enhanced classroom instructional techniques and strategies through workshops and conferences both in and out of the District.
